Testing Performed

Prior to placement into service, qualified personnel should carry out the applicable inspection, electrical safety verification, water and drain connection checks, ultrasonic and irrigation performance tests, thermal disinfection verification, and cycle validation in accordance with STERIS procedures and the receiving facility's protocols. Processing staff should follow the equipment and instrument manufacturers' instructions for use. Ultrasonic cleaning and thermal disinfection do not replace any separately required terminal sterilization process.
